Reliable GSHP Monitoring in Any Building: Ensure® Now Equipped with SIM-Based Connectivity

Ensure® continues to expand its ability to monitor and safeguard Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) systems by introducing SIM card router connectivity—an essential upgrade for installations in existing commercial buildings. Many retrofit applications, particularly those with mechanical rooms located in concrete basements, pose a significant challenge for stable internet access. With this new capability, Ensure® can now operate independently of the building’s local network, ensuring uninterrupted data communication no matter the environment.

Much like a wireless lifeline reaching deep into hard-to-access spaces, the SIM-based router enables Ensure® to maintain a secure, 4G/LTE connection between the GHX system and our cloud platform. This allows us to continue collecting and analyzing performance data, even in buildings where traditional internet service is weak, inconsistent, or completely unavailable.

Ensure® Installed in a Concrete Basement Mechanical Room with SIM Router Support

This is particularly valuable in existing commercial buildings, where pulling new internet lines to remote basement areas is often impractical, expensive, or time-consuming. With the SIM router, Ensure® can be deployed quickly and reliably, with minimal disruption to the building’s infrastructure—making it easier than ever to bring advanced GSHP monitoring into aging or constrained facilities.

By overcoming the connectivity challenges of basement installations and retrofit projects, Ensure® further solidifies its role as a robust and flexible solution for commercial energy systems. Whether in new construction or decades-old buildings, we’re committed to delivering real-time insights, system protection, and peace of mind—without compromise.
